This one's for you sis...

Family Picture

Max & Maddie!

Dancing Fools!

22 years Together!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok...Shelly has been telling me my blog needs an update! So...this one's for you Deda! We have been super busy since Max passed the test and got his learner's permit. He has been driving all over! Now when I start a sentence with "I'm going to the ..." he is already in the driver's seat waiting for me! He actually wants to go places with me...not for the reasons I would necessarily want but hey...he is a teenager and I will take any time he spends with me! I know my days are numbered! LOL! Maddie has completed swim lessons and is doing much better. She has never been scared of the water just couldn't swim in the deep in but she is conquering that this summer. She has also graduated from the back seat to the front seat (not the driver's though..thank goodness) so she also will go with me places so she can ride in the front seat. I sure wish I could make them understand that growing up too fast is not always a good thing. Wouldn't we love to all be kids again! :) The weekend of the 20th of June we headed to KC for a wedding of a family friend! We had a good time and the wedding was beautiful along with the bride! Congrats to Carli & Scott! The dance was probably our favorite part as we boogied until the last song was played..I know you are not suprised! Now we are preparing for Shelly's wedding. September seems so far but will be here before you know it! Joe and I also celebrated 22 years of wedded bliss on the 20th! I will have to say that marrying your best friend is probably the best thing you could do. Oh yes...there are ups & downs but over the last 22 years the good totally outweighs the bad. Hard to believe 22 years have already passed and to think we dated for 4 years before so I always say 26 years! Here's to many more! 381!

It's Official...we are homeless!!!

Will it all fit????

Filled to the Max!

Brandon & Mads...are you really working????

Welcome to our house of Boxes!

It's Offical.......:).....:(.......!

Yes...it is true. If you are coming to Wichita to visit us don't be knocking on the door you are used to as we will not be there! Actually, we have to be out on the 5th of July. We won't be able to move into our new house until the 24th of July so we are bunking with my mom until then. We are in the process of packing up and loading stuff to the storage unit. Most of the stuff that has to go in boxes has already been done..thanks Mom, Karen and Shelly! We moved all the furniture this past weekend to the unit & now we are just getting the little stuff that you really don't know what to do with that will probably be just thrown in a box! A great big shout out to Darrell, Brandon, Scoob, Beaner & Wes for all your help! It was enjoyable and see you on the 24th! LOL! So only 6 more days and then we are "homeless" or at least "homeOWNERS!" We are very sad about leaving our house that we have called "home" for the last 15 years. They have been wonderful years and I will have very mixed feelings the last time I walk out that door as that was the door I brought my two most prized possessions through! I know we will always have the memories of this house but am looking forward to the new memories we are going to make in the new one! I will be posting or emailing you all of our new info!

Dear Lord...Please give me the patience.....

Yes, the picture doesn't lie...today Max got his permit to drive. I hope I have the strength to survive this! We went to the DMV on Tuesday and of course they wouldn't accept the birth registration card I took no they needed the ACTUAL birth certificate...(just a little hint) so we had to make a trip back home. He didn't pass the written test on Tuesday so he studied some more and took it again today. I am not disappointed that he got it I am more disappointed that he is old enough to be getting it. It was just yesterday he was riding around in that red/yellow buggy with his FEET getting him where he needed to go. I guess I better enjoy it and live in the moment because these big moments are coming faster thatn I wanted them to. I know Max will have a guardian angel/driver's ed teacher always looking after him! Oh...he is excited about getting his permit but the expression he is giving is more for his mother and my scrapbook page that I will be doing!

This weekend is consumed with an MAYB tourney. We are still in the house playing game. We offered...they countered...we countered....they countered. Hopefully we will have news soon. We got the appraisal done on our house so we are just waiting that number. Have reserved a storage unit and made reservations at Nana's, Auntie Karen's & Deda's...we are just waiting for them to confirm!! LOL. Will keep you updated!
Also...did you notice music playing when you opened this? I have to brag...yes I did it. Almost all by myself. I had to confirm some things with Amy..thanks girl...but 95% of it was me!!! Hope you enjoy the music and I think I can teach you Michelle!

Have a good weekend all!

What are they up to?

Should I be susipious??? Without being told today Max gets the lawn mower out and mows the yard. Then pulls out the weed eater and trims the whole yard! You notice from the picture that while Max mowed the lawn he still took time out to answer his text messages! Miss Maddie fills up the tub and proceeds to give Oscar a bath. I have been waiting for the dreaded question...you know the one..."Mom, can I...?" That is what one might expect after all they did "on their own" but no not these two! I thought it was very sweet of both of them. We have the best kids ever! House hunting still on but hopefully will have more to report soon!

Friends....

Also wanted to post a picture of Mads and my best friends daughter, Tori, who came to visit us last week. Her son was playing in a golf tourney and Tori and Maddie had so much fun hanging out together. Love it that they are connecting...Sue Ann, Tori's mom, and I grew up together since we were about 3 or so. Life long friends are the best! Thanks for visiting us TEBO's and we cannot wait till you come back!

Happy Summer Day!

Still working all the "kinks" out of this blog thing. Not sure what I am really doing but going to keep trying. Maddie, as you can see from the picture, is spending the hot Kansas summer day out keeping cool. Shelly & Brandon have the boys this weekend and they got a slide for the yard and Mads had to go join the fun. Joe is playing in the company golf tournament in Newton and Max has mowed the yard and now swimming with his friends. That leaves me alone to watch whatever I want on the TV and wouldn't you know...nothing worth watching is on. Just my luck. So I sit here worrying about this whole house deal. I posted the picture of the "for sale" sign and say it is sold although we are waiting on the appraisal to be done. I feel that I cannot start packing or anything. However, this should not keep me from the ironing & laundry that needs done. We have been looking at some homes. Since I have seen the models and spec homes that is really where my heart is right now. I would like a new one again but time will tell. My mom has been helping me look. I have to ask her as we exit each house "what do you think". She usually makes me tell her my thoughts first but then gives me hers. So confusing & such a big decision. Well, if you took time to read this thanks...I am going to try and keep it updated. If I keep it updated does that get me out of a Xmas letter in December????hmmmmmm!
